New Kesteven Business Centre development holds promise of more jobs in Sleaford

The development of a new business centre within the former Sleaford police station on Kesteven Street, holds the prospect of
attracting new businesses and jobs into the town.

The Kesteven Business Centre, situated opposite the North Kesteven District Council offices, is the new home to Waldeck Associates, an expanding firm of consulting and design engineers with an impressive international client portfolio, who, through Hodgson Elkington, agents for the Lincolnshire Police Authority, have bought the former police station and relocated the business from Lindum House, Northgate, Sleaford.

The firm, which employs 12 plus another five on contract, have occupied a third of the 6,000 sq ft building for its own use. The remaining 4,000 sq ft of space has been refurbished and will be let to businesses locating or relocating to the town centre development.

"The business is doubling in size every year and we had been looking to find new premises in Sleaford for some time to
relocate the business into. The sale of the old police station provided the perfect solution to this and at the same time to
provide a business centre for other businesses," said Paul Waldeck of Waldeck Associates.

Anything from a single room up to 4,000 sq ft is available and office suites are offered to let on flexible leases which makes
them ideal for new or expanding businesses and they are located in a prime position directly opposite to the main entrance of
North Kesteven District Council offices and adjacent to a large public car park.

"It is encouraging that the sale of this important building will lead to new business development and job creation in the town,"
said Daniel Race, an associate with Hodgson Elkington, the chartered surveyors who handled the sale for Lincolnshire Police
and are letting agents for the properties.
