Chris Burford-Bradshaw, a senior building surveyor with Hodgson Elkington, the Lincoln and Newark chartered surveyors and property consultants, has been appointed an Associate.

He joined Hodgson Elkington in November 1999 to head up the firm's Building Consultancy and Project Management department and is based at the company's recently opened Survey and Valuation
Office at 2 Tentercroft Street, next door to the main offices at 343 High Street.

Mr Burford-Bradshaw is a chartered building surveyor with over eleven years experience in the industry. He came to Lincoln from
a private north eastern based surveying practice based in York. Prior to that he worked at the Nottingham office of Drivers
Jonas, one of the most successful national surveying consultancies.

A large part of his experience has been in the preparation and management of construction projects, including both refurbishment and new build works. He also deals with the broader spectrum of building surveying work, including commercial and residential surveys, defects analysis, planned maintenance programmes and the
management of construction health and safety.

He is married with two young children. His leisure interests include walking and climbing.
