New speculative industrial
development at Sadler Park
Construction work has started on a £1/2
million, 10,000 sq ft speculative industrial/warehouse
development at Sadler Park, Lincoln.
The building is being developed by Lincoln
based Lindsey Securities with backing from
EMDA (East Midlands Development Agency) and
forms phase two of the £5 million Sadler
Park complex. Construction is expected to
be completed in September 2001.
"We will be offering the option of a
single 10,000sq ft building or two units of
5,000 sq ft each. These are considerably larger
than the majority of modern industrial units
available in Lincoln and we are
hoping to attract established and growing
local companies or new inward investors,"
said Robin Taylor of Lindsey Securities.
"The speculative nature of this development
underlines the confidence the developers have
in the growing Lincoln commercial market.
Of particular importance in this project is
the quality of this area and its close proximity
to the A46 where dualling works are due to
start before the end of the year which will
provide a much easier link to the A1 and motorway
network," said Daniel Race, partner with
chartered surveyors, Hodgson Elkington who
are agents for the scheme.
