New development is welcome
news for the city
The announcement of the new £5 million
office development for Lincoln is welcome
news for the city and its North Kesteven neighbour.
The decision by the developer, Nottingham
based Bournston, underlines the confidence
it has in the future of Lincoln and its important
potential within the wider East Midlands region
and beyond.
The start of the A46 dualling next year has
given a clear green light to potential inward
investors and developers that Lincoln and
its important south west North Kesteven neighbour
is now well placed available and willing to
play a leading part in the continuing rejuvenation
and development of our economy.
The Point will bring an estimated 400 jobs
and more jobs will be created for the Lincoln
based contractors, Wrights Construction, who
have been awarded the contract to build.
The combined and sustained efforts of both
the private and public sector over many years
are beginning to pay dividends. These developments
will continue to gain momentum now that the
dualling of the A46 is a near reality.
This is not only good news for the city and
those living south of the city but for the
wider community as a whole. The trickle down
and knock on factors will continue to benefit
everyone.
The signal, in ever greater intensity, going
out to decision makers both outside and within
the county is that Lincoln is the place to
be now and in the future.
Yours sincerely
