£5 million Lincoln Office Park Development

Leading county business people were told
about opportunities available at a new £5
million office park which opens up the prospect
of creating up to 400 new jobs, at a reception
at the Bentley Hotel, Lincoln (Tuesday December
4).
The Point, a three-acre development on Whisby
Road close to the Lincoln bypass, will be
the largest office park Lincoln has ever seen
and is the first true out- of-town development
of this type.
The reception and presentation by Nottingham
based developer, Bournston, chartered surveyors
Hodgson Elkington and Banks Long, joint agents
for the scheme, and independent financial
advisers Thompson & Richardson also focused
on tax efficient purchase options through
pension fund acquisition.
"We have already signed up our first
deal, three others are agreed and other serious
enquiries are being pursued," said Daniel
Race, partner at Hodgson Elkington .
The Point will provide 43,000 sq ft of single
and two storey, high specification office
accommodation. Completion will be in January
2002.
